Get to Know GetTested CDC's Online Finder for Fast & Free Testing

GetTested (gettested.cdc.gov) is an online tool that lets users search for a broad range of health services in their area in English and in Spanish. These include testing services for HIV, STDs, and viral hepatitis, and select vaccines. Updates in June of this year made it easier than ever to navigate the tool.

Powered by NPIN's health services organization database, GetTested promises fast, free, confidential, and flexible service options. For example, users can filter for only free and low-cost providers. People who would prefer not to go to a clinic for an HIV test can filter by organizations offering mail-only HIV self-tests for maximum confidentiality. Each result displays a list of services offered and contact information and clicking on the name of the provider will display more details, such as operating hours and fee information.

If your organization offers testing or vaccination services in the area of HIV, STDs, and viral hepatitis, you can submit your information here to be included in the provider database. You can also spread the word about GetTested by adding widgets, like this mail-only HIV self-test finder, to your web pages.
